Due to the large number of requests for signed books (and the impossibility to do this by mail), Deon does as many signings as possible, both in South Africa and abroad. Below is the latest schedule of his appearances.

    How dangerous is South Africa? Deon Meyer is one of South Africa’s leading crime writers. Devil’s Peak, the third of his books to be translated into Swedish, takes place in Cape Town and tells the story of three characters brought together by a grim fate. Each in his or her own way has been scarred by the unhealed conflicts of apartheid and war in South Africa. Meyer has been a journalist in both the old and the new South Africa. He talks about the background to his crime novels and answers the question: How dare he have a Xhosa character as a hero? Conversational partner: Svante Weyler, publisher.
